CCTV image released by Kent Police after man tries to open woman’s car door in Canterbury

A CCTV image has been released by police after a man reportedly tried to open a woman’s car door.

On March 16, a woman reported that at about 5.40pm an unknown man approached her as she walked to her car in Brymore Road, Canterbury.

As she walked along the road, the man tried to engage in a conversation with her and as she got in her car he watched her as she drove off.

The following day the woman reported the same man in Sturry Road at about 4.15pm trying to open her car door before getting into a car and driving off.

Since the report was made to the police, officers have been carrying out several inquiries including going house to house and reviewing CCTV in the local area.

Officers would now like to identify the man in the image.
