City name new under-18 boss

CITY have announced the appointment of Damian Langiano as manager of their Under-18 side which will compete in next season’s Valley Express Kent Youth League.

Langiano is a well-known face in local football having played for many years at Broomfield and Herne Bay before a successful spell managing Broomfield after which he moved to Herne Bay where he ran the reserve side under the guidance of first team manager Tommy Sampson.

A successful entrepreneur, Langiano joins City having recently been involved at Winch’s Field and admits that he found the lure of ambitious City too hard to resist.

“At first I wanted to be involved in the development of my son Daniel who plays for the under-18s but the more I got to know about the club, the more I was impressed by the energy, drive and ambition of those around the club.

“There is a real confidence that we can go places at City and with the Community Football Hub on the horizon these really are exciting times.”
