It will be closed from 10pm tonight (January 13) and will reopen at 5am tomorrow (January 14).

Traffic will be diverted through the east-bore tunnel while the west tunnel will be open as usual.

The northbound carriageway, heading out of the county, will then also be closed overnight from 10.30pm tomorrow (January 14) until 5am Monday (January 15).

It will be shut between junction 2 and junction 1a, for Dartford, to allow National Highways to complete emergency repairs to the barrier.

A diversion will be in place via the A2 coastbound, B255 northbound and the A206 London-bound to then rejoin the A282 at junction 1a.
