Fire crews in Dover called to scaffolding fire in Coombe Valley Road

Scaffolding at an address in Coombe Valley Road mysteriously caught fire last night. (Friday)

Fire crews were called at 11pm and extinguished the blaze which had engulfed the wooden boards of the scaffold.

Two pumps used a hose reel jet and the flames took an hour to put out.

Watch manager, Daryl Tonks said: "It wasn't deliberate but I'm not sure how it happened."
