Communities Secretary Eric Pickles is coming to Gravesend this morning.
The Conservative MP will be meeting local conservative candidates and representatives ahead of the KCC elections in May.
He plans to look around the refurbished library on Windmill Street before meeting shoppers.
His visit follows Labour leader Ed Miliband's trip to the town earlier this month.
