Police tactically stopped a vehicle after a chase in Northfleet.

A man and woman have been arrested after their car reportedly failed to stop for officers at 3am in Thames Way, Northfleet yesterday.

Lee Sales, 31, of Leicester Gardens, Sheerness, has been charged with dangerous driving, possession of a knuckleduster, possession of a knife, driving while disqualified and driving without insurance.

He has been remanded in custody to appear before Medway magistrates tomorrow.

Sarah Dove, 30, of Stockdale Gardens, Deal, has been charged with creating a danger to road users by causing glass bottles to be on the carriageway.

She has been bailed to appear before Medway magistrates on Tuesday July 19.
