Midfielder Craig Stone is targeting first-team football after signing a one-year deal at Blue Square Premier Ebbsfleet.

The 19-year-old agreed terms with manager Liam Daish last week and put pen-to-paper on Monday.

He has been searching for a new club since being released by Gillingham at the end of last season.

Stone said: “It’s a massive thing at my age. I need to be playing games. It doesn’t mean that because I’m dropping down a level that I will play regularly.

“I’ve got to work just as hard and perform when I’m playing.”
