Appeal after attempted break-in

Forensic officers have been examining a bank in Borough Green after a thief tried to break in today.

Police were called at about 3.15am after suspicious behaviour was reported at Barclays Bank in Station Road.

A police statement said: "At this time it appears a door was forced to access the building but nothing has been taken.

"The bank is currently cordoned off as forensic officers, along with other officers, are at the bank carrying out an examination of the scene."

"Detectives would like to hear from anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area of the bank in the early hours, or who has any information that may help."
