Chatham-born Montell Douglas helped England's women's 4x100m team to gold medal glory at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi.

The 24-year-old Blackheath and Bromley AC member (pictured) - the current British record holder - helped the England sprinters complete a men and women's double in the 100m relays with a comprehensive win on Tuesday lunchtime.

She partnered Katherine Endacott, Laura Turner and Abi Oepitan to victory in 44.19 seconds at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium with Ghana well behind in second in 45.24 and India one-hundredth of a second further back in bronze medal position.
