A 17-year-old boy who died in a road crash in a Kent village has been named on a social networking site as Craig Duffett from Sidcup.

Kent Police say the crash happened at around 12.15am Saturday in Bossingham Road, Stelling Minnis, around seven miles outside Canterbury.

The teenage victim was a passenger in a Ford Focus which overturned.

Another youth and two girls in the car suffered non-life threatening injuries.

A Facebook group called R.i.p Craig Duffett July 18th 1991 - August 30th 2008 has been set up so as people can leave messages of condolence and currently has 503 members.

Kent Police spokesman Rosemary Alexander said she could not say how the crash happened or why the group had been in the area.

The road was closed for around six hours while Kent Police’s serious collision investigation unit examined the scene.
