Man denies bus driver assault

A YOUNG man has denied assaulting a bus driver who suffered a heart attack.

Jake Tolley, 18, of Ridsdale Road, Anerly, appeared before Bromley magistrates on Wednesday accused of threatening bus driver Frederick Porter on a route 354 bus in Beckenham Road, Clockhouse.

Tolley is alleged to have confronted Mr Porter on April 26 this year.

The magistrates remanded him on unconditional bail until his trial in December. He denied affray and common assault.
