Women in labour have been told to stay calm after phone coverage went down at Pembury Hospital.
There is now no landline at the mid Kent hospital, but a mobile number has been set up for women in labour, or anyone with questions for staff at the hospital’s delivery suite. It is 07872 696180.
Pregnant women who would like advice are also asked to contact the delivery suite at Maidstone Hospital, via 01622 729000.
The Trust’s other switchboards can still be reached. Maidstone Hospital is 01622 729000 and the Kent and Sussex Hospital is 01892 526111.
