Water bills set to rise

PEOPLE across Kent will soon have to pay more for their water. County providers Mid-Kent Water and Southern Water have both unveiled what they say are five-year business plans to improve services.

Consumers will be asked to pay more than £20 extra every year during that five-year period if regulator OFWAT agrees.
