Project Kent: kmfm teams up with Kent Reliance to make community projects happen

The team at kmfm has teamed up with Kent Reliance to help get community projects in the county off the ground in the form of Project Kent, but they need your help.

Do you know of a community garden that needs renovating, a local mums group that need help to make the environment better for their little ones, a sensory area for children with learning difficulties or a scheme for young people? Then we want to hear from you.

The initiative comes off the back of successes such as ‘Kent Heroes’, ‘Make Someone’s Christmas’ and national radio award nominated ‘Save Someone’s Christmas’.

Project Kent will welcome all local people, communities, charities and groups to nominate a project they need help getting off the ground, completing, funding or making better.

Maybe it’s something completely different, but we really are looking for projects that change lives for local people in Kent, for the better!

To get involved all you need to do is head to kmfm.co.uk and click Project Kent.

Then simply fill out the form with all the details and up to three projects.

The successful nominations will be announced live on kmfm breakfast with Garry and Laura at 8am on Monday, July 17.
