Kent's Amjad Khan has been promoted to the England squad for the second time this winter as cover for the injured Andrew Flintoff.
The 28-year-old Danish born fast bowler is on his way to the West Indies, after flying to New Zealand with the England Lions with team-mates Robert Key and Joe Denly on Saturday, as Flintoff is struggling with a hip problem.
He was called up last November together with Yorkshire's Adil Rashid for the re-arranged two tests against India, after the orginal tour was called off due to the troubles in Mumbai.
Kent coach Simon Willis said: "This is great news for both Amjad and Kent County Cricket Club. He has looked sharp in the nets and is in good physical shape. He totally deserves his call-up and I am confident that he will do well."
