CHARLTON defender Osei Sankofa has moved to Brentford on loan.

The youngster will spend a month with the League 2 side in the hope of getting some regular first team football.

Addicks boss Alan Pardew said: "I think it would be good for Osei to go and play some games."

Sankofa, who signed a new one-year Charlton contract last June, has made 19 first-team appearances. He last featured as a substitute in the 4-2 defeat at West Brom in December.

The 22-year-old could make his Brentford debut against Notts County on Tuesday, January 29.
