TONBRIDGE ANGELS missed the chance to go top of Ryman League Division 1 with a midweek defeat at home to Metropolitan Police but they have a chance to get their title push back on track against promotion rivals Tooting & Mitcham United at Longmead on Saturday.

Fellow title-chasers Ramsgate, who are looking for back-to-back promotions this season, return to league action after reaching the semi-finals of the John Ullman Kent Senior Cup on Tuesday.

Jim Ward's side travel to Walton Casuals and the Scot is growing in confidence of his team's chances.

He said: "I'd be very happy to be in the top two when Dover come to Southwood on Easter Monday. There are 16 games left and we will be very disappointed if we are not in the play-offs."

However, defender Nick Humphrey had to go off in the first half during the goalless draw at Croydon on Tuesday with an ankle injury and is a doubt for the clash.

Whites will also be without striker Jimmy Dryden, who had a scan on his injured knee this week.

There could be a celebrity name on show when Folkestone Invicta host Windsor & Eton at The Buzzlines Stadium in the Ryman League Premier Division.

Actor Ralf Little is expected to be in the visitors' starting line-up. Best known for his roles in The Royle Family and Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps, 25-year-old Little plays left-back for the Royals and is a footballer of some repute having recently starred in Sky TV’s The Match.

Windsor are currently third to bottom in the table but beat Invicta 1-0 back in December. Invicta captain Adam Flanagan will again be unavailable as he completes his three-match suspension.
