Homes in Cliffe were left without power after a lorry crashed into a telegraph pole in Town Road.
Kent Police say they were called at 2.47pm today following the accident, and engineers from UK Power Networks are on the scene to help restore power.
No one was injured in the crash, and it is not yet known how many properties were affected.
