Kristian Petik filmed sex act in car park next to Pentagon Centre in Chatham

A teenager humiliated a schoolgirl after videoing her engaged in a sex act and sending it to friends.

Slovakian-born Kristian Petik, now 19, filmed the 16-year-old victim in a Chatham car park in what a judge described as "showing off of the worst kind".

Maidstone Crown Court heard how he then sent two videos to friends - one of whom "quite responsibly" reported it to police, said the judge.

Now Petik, of Chamberlain Road, has been jailed for four years after he admit four offences of taking and distribution illegal images of a child.

Judge Adele Williams heard the sex act was performed on a friend of Petik's, David Spiridon, who would later be convicted of rape at the same stairwell next to the Pentagon shopping centre later the same day.

Prosecutor Christopher May said the victim later reported the incident left her feeling "humiliated, embarrassed and dirty".

She also revealed her education was also damaged in the aftermath and she felt "worthless".

The judge told him he had exploited and taken advantage of a teenager.

She said: "This was done to humiliate, control and out of a sense of bravado."

She also implemented a six year sexual harm prevention order.

Spiridon, then 16, was later convicted of the oral rape of another teenage girl in the multi-storey car park on the same day and sentenced to nine years youth custody.

Detective Constable Sanj Tanday of the Missing and Child Exploitation Team said: "Petik thought nothing of recording and sharing this despicable incident via social media.

"This ultimately resulted in his conviction as well as that of the main offender. He should be thoroughly ashamed of his appalling behaviour.

"I would like to commend the victim for her assistance during the investigation and I hope this verdict can offer her some closure now the person responsible for taking and sharing the image has faced justice."
