Air ambulance called to Tesco

Kent Air Ambulance and South East Kent Ambulance crews were called to Sheerness Tesco at 1.29pm today after an elderly shopper collapsed.

The man, in his 80's, suffered chest pains and was tended by medics in the land ambulance outside the main entrance to the superstore in Bridge Road.

He was taken by land ambulance to Medway Maritime Hospital for treatment.
